At Nova, it's all about the team. Our model is based on a lean, professional in-house team backed by a network of only the best senior freelance translators.

Internal team

Sinéad Healy has over 15 years of experience in the translation/localization industry on both the customer and supplier side. She holds a degree in European studies from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland, and a Masters in Applied Languages for Business from the University of Ulster, Northern Ireland. She started her career in 1994 as a Vendor Coordinator with Berlitz GlobalNET and held various positions in the industry, including that of Global Translation Manager with Infor business solutions ltd, the localization division of German ERP company Infor AG. In 2003, Sinéad spotted a niche in the market and set up an English translation business to cater for a strongly growing market. The company made its first strategic hire in 2007 and has been going from strength to strength ever since.

A graduate from Trinity College Dublin, Ronan holds a degree in Computer Science, Linguistics and German and a Masters in Computational Linguistics. In 2001, Ronan was awarded the German Composition Prize in recognition for achieving first class honours in German. Before joining Nova, Ronan worked as a Lexicographer for a machine translation company based in Germany. As Lead Project Manager\Reviewer, Ronan has proved an invaluable asset to the team and has made significant contribution to the company's success over the past year.

Kathryn has been working with Nova since May 2008. She holds a degree in German and French from University College Cork and is currently completing a Masters in French Translation. The recent recipient of an Outstanding past pupil award, Kathryn's dedication and hard work has made her a valued member of the Nova team.

External team

We work closely with a network of carefully approved freelance translators.
We have a rigorous vendor approval procedure that ensures that we only work with the very best resources. For example, all of our freelance translators:

• Are native English speakers
• Live in the relevant English-speaking country
• Are subject matter experts
• Are proficient in the latest computer-aided translation tools
